Welcome to Amador Matchmaking. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and matchmaking, date coaching, and consultation services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website, completing a profile, or engaging any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Our Services

Amador Matchmaking provides private, professional matchmaking, date coaching, and consultation services for accomplished, relationship-minded individuals. Services may include profile development, curated introductions, date coaching, online dating strategy support, and related consultations. Specific scope and duration of engagement are defined in the individual client agreement executed at the time of enrollment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally single, and seeking a committed partnership to use our Services. By creating a profile or enrolling as a client, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to decline service or terminate any engagement if information is found to be false or misleading.

3. No Guarantee of Outcome

Matchmaking and coaching are inherently personal processes. While we apply our expertise, professional network, and care to every client relationship, we make no guarantee regarding the number of introductions, the quality of any specific introduction, the start or continuation of a romantic relationship, marriage, or any other personal outcome. Our Services are provided on a best-efforts basis.

4. Client Conduct and Responsibilities

You agree to engage with our team, other members, and potential introductions with honesty, respect, and integrity. You will not harass, deceive, or mistreat any individual introduced through our Services. You agree not to use information obtained through our Services for any purpose other than pursuing a genuine personal connection. Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate termination of your engagement without refund.

5. Confidentiality

We treat all client information with strict confidentiality, consistent with our Privacy Policy. In return, you agree that any personal, professional, or identifying information you learn about other members, introductions, or our processes through our Services will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed, shared, or used for any purpose outside the scope of a genuine personal connection.

6. Payment, Fees, and Refunds

Fees for each service are defined in the individual client agreement. Payments are due as specified at enrollment. Due to the personalized, time-intensive nature of our work, most Services are non-refundable once engagement begins. Specific refund terms, if any, are stated in your signed client agreement. All billing disputes must be raised in writing within 30 days of the charge.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on amadormatchmaking.com — including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and the "Amador Matchmaking" name and brand — is the property of Amador Matchmaking or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amador Matchmaking, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our Services, any introductions made, or the conduct of any other member or client. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Third-Party Conduct

We carefully screen members and introductions but do not control the actions, statements, or character of any third party. You acknowledge that all interactions with introductions occur at your own discretion and risk. We strongly encourage meeting for the first time in a public place and exercising ordinary caution when building any new relationship.

10. Termination

You may terminate your engagement at any time subject to the terms of your client agreement. We reserve the right to decline, pause, or terminate Services at our discretion for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, dishonesty, failure to pay, or conduct that is incompatible with the integrity of our Services and community.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Barbara County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or business practices. Any material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
